I am Sachin. I work on Deep learning and Reinforcement learning. I believe AGI will be DL + RL fused together. I think Great thing about Humans is they can explain physical reality and finds invariants in it. this makes me wonderous about intelligence and broader AI for science.
Right now I am working on Continual Learning and generalization. I have this question: can computers crate new knowledge ? If human intelligence can create physics, maths or something which help us to understand reality better then why not computers ? I want to answer this question.
I am also a part of core team at @edutor where we wanted to “personalize education with AI” and engineering the post-AGI era's true form of learning and teaching.
core principles and ideas.
- “It just happens they got interested in this thing, and they learned all this stuff. They're just people. …So if you take an ordinary person who's willing to devote a great deal of time and study and work and thinking and mathematics, then he's become a scientist.” I think about this Richard feynman lines a lot.
- be unreasonable and have high agency. world will reconfigure around you.
- Imagination is unbounded by earthly variables. think what's not thought before and have high ambition.
- Choose reality over consensus. ask for law of nature over social eqillibrium.
I love to read books, sometime i play chess and am also learning to play piano. I have side quests too.
